• Organized the first International conference on Women’s health and Autoimmune diseases at PGIMER, Chandigarh on the 6th October, 2019. It was attended by international faculty Dr Ian Giles (London),Dr Grace Wright, Dr Thaila Ramanujam and many leading Indian Rheumatologist. India sensitized to pertinent issues relating to women’s health like preserving fertility in patients on immunosuppression. The conference was extremely successful. We could see its impact even during IRACON in December at Puducherry where there was a session on Women’s health.
• Young Scientists International fellowship by Indian Council of Medical Research in Sept 2014. [Bone marrow transplant in refractory scleroderma at the Royal Free hospital, London.
  Mentored by Professor Christopher Denton.
• Awarded AbbVie Best Paper Award at APLAR 2015Chennai for the paper “Effects of Sulfasalazine in axial ankylosing spondylosis a double-blind placebo-controlled trial”
• Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences (N. A. M. S.), Oct 2013. Indian Rheumatology Association (IRA) Research Grant-2013 [Assessment of hand arthritis in systemic
  sclerosis]
• Coveted Japanese College of Rheumatology (JCR) International Scholarship-2011 [To present my research work “Study the effects of Anti- TNF Alpha Agents on bone health and disease
  activity in ankylosing spondylitis patients.” at the 20th International Rheumatology Symposium at Tokyo 24 - 27 April, 2011]
• Prestigious ARA-APLAR (Australian Rheumatology Association -APLAR) International Fellowship.[To present my research work ‘To develop and validate health related Quality of Life Scale
  for Rheumatoid arthritis patients in a North Indian setting” at the Annual Scientific Meeting of ARA, Sydney, 26 -30 May 2007]
• Member of Expert Group of the Association of Physicians of India (API)to formulate the guidelines of adult immunization in 2009. [Recommendations published vide JAPI, April 2009; Vol. 57: 345-356]
• Chief Guide / Co Guide in many post graduate thesis/ dissertations : MD(> 40), DM (>10), PhD(1).
• Organized CME’s, Workshops , Clinical Meetings , Seminars and symposia for students and practitioners. Some on them are :
• International Conference on Women Health in Autoimmune Diseases in November 2019 at PGIMER.
• We conduct Scleroderma Patient Awareness Programme once a year on Scleroderma Day End of June) for the last 5 years. It is an educational, interactive session for our patients to
  help them to understand the disease and to cope with it in a better manner.
• Made the website on Scleroderma: www.sclerodermaindia.com.
• Member of the Executive committee of the Indian Rheumatology association from 2021-2023.
• Member of the permanent medical board for Medical Termination of Pregnancy at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
• In-charge of the weekly Journal Club for MD Medicine.
